A Neo Emission Reduction Approach for Minimizing Atmospheric Air Pollutants Using Ternary Fuel with Pentanol and Seaweed Anti-Oxidant in Multi-Cylinder Diesel Engine

<p>This research examines the scope for reducing air pollution caused by transportation sector through infusion of biofuel and antioxidants ensuring partial replacement conventional fuel. A four-stroke, direct-injection, multi-cylinder constant-speed diesel engine was employed experimental analysis. The ternary fuel blend with a composition 70% fuel, 20% rubber seed oil 10% pentanol sea weed extract in different ratios were blended to form B20, B20A1, B20A2 B20A3. results showed smoke carbon monoxide reduced 4.71%, unburned hydrocarbons 2.2 %. NOx emission which slightly higher compared but not than B20 5%. brake thermal efficiency increased 3.71% when Consequently, (5% seaweed 5% additive methyl ester oil) found be an environmentally biodegradable gasoline best properties. study findings are quite promising future seeks towards zero optimum quantity replace diesel.</p>
